10 best Sci-Fi films from 2010-2020

First off this is just my opinion and in order to write this properly I think I should include my own rules, My own nutritional facts. let me preface I haven't seen all the science fiction movies ever made, though I'm making my way there. To me, science fiction whether based on a book, story, or game or rooted in actual fiction films would have some shared elements. Even if films are dramatic, humorous, romantic, or plain old crazy. In any film, I look to see what holds the film together, the story, characters/actors, script, scenery, and soundtrack. I hope that at least all the bases are covered. but most of the time it's only a few. The script is often non-negotiable unless there's wiggle room which is often found in comedies and less in other genres. Sometimes the script is fine or better than fine, but the characters/actors try too hard or fall behind that even if the script is good no one can actually save it. For science fiction, it could literally be a silent f...

The Rings of Mediocre Power

Have you ever found yourself wishing for cutting-edge adventure? Have you wanted to survive a train long line to see your favorite movie or specialized event? Stranded in a sea of pop tents, pool chairs, and general mayhem that is a book launch, movie premier, or overpriced sneaker drop. Look no further, well I would say look farther, cause this ain't it. I  remember waiting in line with my dad and brother and then holding in my pee during the three hr long films because the theater was so crowded with people you'd inevitably miss 1-3 key points while waiting to use the facilities.  ...

Stranger Fan-Things

I'm thirty-five years old and I love Stranger Things! Since its first season, I have been on every twist and turn the show has offered me and I've gobbled it up like a rampaging demodog. I've rewatched every season at least twice and recently rewatched it with my BF so he could enjoy in the splendor of what is Stranger Things. Although I know there is just one season to go, I'm not mad about it. the foreshadowing that has haunted Stranger Things needs to come to a close as we can't keep believing the actor's arent aging.  I was born in the 80's but I grew up in the 90's. However, I love 80's fashion and many of my favorite movies are from the 80's and 90's. In fact I would say most of them. There is something nostalgic and wonderful about movies without people staring at their phones texting their friends to come over and eat pizza or hangout out in their parent's basement to play spin the bottle. Stranger Things captures the 80's so...
